Waterfront – Lake Erie’s Southern Shore

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this unique home located on the south shore of Lake Erie in Vermilion, Ohio. It is spacious, with unbelievable views of the lake from many windows. My favorite spot is the sunroom with a gas fireplace, and it is directly facing the lake. Had it been warmer I would have spent time on the top deck with its amazing views. The home was well stocked with amenities and has a quirky nautical theme. Fish plaques on the walls of the great room, mermaids in the master bath, and a large, preserved turtle in the sunroom. The master bed was extraordinarily comfortable, and we could see the lake from it. Our host was helpful and thoughtful. She even left a batch of homemade cookies, had suggestions for sights to see and was available for any questions during our visit.
