This spacious river house, juts out over the Karnak River. The ground level is a stilted parking/barbeque/boat launch/utility area. Up the elevator (slow and noisy but reliable–good if you have a lot of luggage) or stairs is the main living area with kitchen, two bedrooms, two baths, a large high-ceiling living/dining room there are more bedrooms upstairs. There is a stunning full wall of the windows and glass doors overlooking the river. Beyond those windows and glass doors is a huge upper-level balcony where you sit in a rocker and watch the water flow, the birds fly, and watch the boats pass. These can be numerous on weekends and during the summer. Many will wave at you, and you wave back. The living space is open concept with a traditional/contemporary vibe. Large televisions in each room, two in the living area. The bedroom and baths have a Lone Star theme. At ground level is a fire pit. The owners were very helpful. We needed to move our reservation up a day at the last minute and they were very accommodating.
